Stone Paper complies with the new EUDR legislation

The new European EUDR legislation (European Deforestation Regulation) aims to stop deforestation and forest degradation.
These rules impose a heavy administrative burden on companies that work with products from wood, pulp or other agricultural raw materials. They must now be able to demonstrate exactly where their materials come from — right down to the plantation or plot — which entails high costs and complex controls.

Stone Paper falls outside this legislation.
Our material does not contain wood fibers, pulp or vegetable raw materials, but consists of calcium carbonate (rock powder) and a small amount polymer binder.
It has therefore no link with forestry or agriculture and is automatically EUDR-compliant.

Stone Paper offers such a sustainable and administratively simple alternative for paper and cardboard products — without the complex obligations that the new regulations bring.
